No one was prepared for the Skyfall. Not even Mirche. Giant black and silver stones rained down, streaming fire and causing massive destruction. And from what Mirche has heard, something alive came out from inside. While he has yet to witness the sky’s monsters, he has seen what their sickness can do.
When his mentor and greatest ally is quarantined with the sky sickness, he joins a cell of scavengers, raiding the vessels for sky monster magic. If he can sell enough, he can afford the bail on his mentor, but she might be fading fast.
A last concern: most of the party is illiterate, meaning Mirche, the voiceless monk, must find a different means of communication.
Silence and Invasions is planned to be an adult Sci-Fantasy Adventure novel.
